The Brother's game is no longer happening. Actually it's still happening, it's just not happening with Bill, Steve, Jerry and myself. We are all just so tired of their weekly tirades and quoting of odds...

Brian: "did you know that you were only 16% to win that pot?!?"

These guys have got a long way to go before I consider them good players. Hell they have a long way to go before I consider them average players. Another reason we aren't playing their game is these bastids never play our new game on Sunday. Too high a stakes for these "professionals".

I really need a digital camera. Pry gonna wait till I get a stable income before buying one. I don't like to get electronic equipment on the cheap, which means i'll pry shoot for a very nice one from my first state paycheck.

The crashes I saw two weeks ago were horrendous for my poker bankroll, but the last week i've done really well. I've cashed in the 3 games I played last week. Monday + 160. Thursday +265. Sunday +345. Very nice. I can't ever seem to get the online game going so i've stopped trying. Haven't played online in some time except for the occassional HORSE sng. Played some stud8 $2/4 the other day with Bierria ( <---- name dropping) but that was about it.

The new Thursday night game is super sweet. In about 2 weeks or so they are adding a $5/10 limit mixed game format of stud8 and o8b. For me this is pure money. There will be tons of action from the "lower" limit players who don't like to risk their whole rolls at NLHE. I could pry make a living from this game alone. We shall see.

Blog hiatus

I'm going to be taking some time off from blogging. There are some things I need to take care of that are very pressing. No i'm not doing jail time, although writting these papers feels like jail. I've been told.

The blog is gonna go in a new direction when I return. With the new job comes new ideas. I think it will make the blog more enjoyable for me as well as my loyal followers.

Congratulations to my little brother Lee who just qualified for the National APA 9-Ball Championships in Las Vegas in August!

Two things about most guys:

1) They all think they are good at poker.
2) They all think they are good at pool.

Lee is very good at pool.

He is one of those players that if you give him any chance he will win. I played him Friday night and twice he ran the table on me, which means he broke, then proceeded to knock all the balls in succession. Very hard to do this in 9-ball. I've run the table only once in my entire life in 9-ball and he did it to me twice on Friday. He was rated in the Top 5 while he was living in Corpus Christi and is now one of the highest rated players in San Antonio. He's never been to LV which means I really want to go with him. We'll see.

I've been playing tons of s8 on UB lately. For you non-poker peeps, thats Stud Hi/Low on UltimateBet. Seems the only real game online that i could find. Fulltilt runs the game but it's always empty or only playing microlimits. The UB game i'm playing is $2/4 limit which seems to suit me just fine.
