Well...

I got my first Teacher paycheck yesterday... Ever heard the expression "something's better than nothing" ? I won't complain. Much.

Couple things have changed since Deemon came back:

* Hrbek stopped posting, so I followed suit

* Fornelli found out he is really a Nigerian Prince. A really light-skinned Nigerian Prince.

* Knighty and Shermy were married.

* Knighty came out of the closet.

* Knighty and Shermy divorced.

* Sly was arrested for peddling vitamin B-12 out of the back of a van to some undercover gray hairs.

* I found out that my contract with the school has no loopholes.

I don't know if this is a good thing or a bad thing but today at football practice a boy hit Thomas after the whistle. The boy came from behind running very fast and Thomas fell down. Well Thomas gets up, walks up to the kid and punches him right in the head. The boy grabs Thomas and throws him to the ground and Thomas rolls on top of him just as we were starting to break it up. I was proud/pissed at the same time. I don't want my kids fighting but at the same time I want him to defend himself if some punk kid is gonna deliberately try to hurt him. In hindsight it was pretty funny.
